This Privacy Policy explains what personal information IPTV Canada collects, why we collect it and how we keep it safe. It also explains your choices and your rights. We wrote it in plain language so it is easy to read.

This policy covers personal information we collect through our website and contact form, by email and WhatsApp, and when you ask for a free trial, order or use our service.

Who we are

IPTV Canada runs the website iptvcanadaonline.com. We offer a prepaid IPTV subscription. It lets you stream live TV channels, sports, movies and series over the internet on compatible devices.

In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean IPTV Canada. “You” means anyone who visits our website, contacts us or buys a subscription.

“Personal information” means information about you as a person, like your name or email address. We handle personal information in line with Canada’s private-sector privacy law, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

How to reach us about privacy

We are responsible for the personal information we hold, including information we give our service providers to handle for us. A member of our team is in charge of privacy questions and requests. You can reach them at support@iptvcanadaonline.com.

If you have a question about your privacy, email us at support@iptvcanadaonline.com or chat with us on WhatsApp. We reply fast.

What personal information we collect

We only collect what we need. Here is what that includes.

When you use our contact form

  • Your full name
  • Your email address
  • Your message

When you order a subscription

Online checkout is not active right now. You arrange orders directly with our team by WhatsApp or email. When you order, we collect:

  • Your name and email address
  • The plan you buy
  • Payment confirmation details. Payment is made by the method we agree on with you, such as Interac e-Transfer. We do not collect or store full card numbers.
  • The login details we create for you so you can use the service

When you talk to our support team

We keep the messages you send us and our replies, whether by email or WhatsApp. This helps us fix your problem and remember what we already talked about.

When you chat with us on WhatsApp

You might contact us on WhatsApp to ask for a free trial, place an order or get help. When you do, we receive your phone number, your WhatsApp profile name and the messages you send. WhatsApp is run by its own company and has its own privacy policy.

When you visit our website

  • Cookie choices: Our cookie consent banner (CookieAdmin) records the choice you make, so we know if you accepted or declined cookies.
  • Analytics: We use Google Analytics, through the MonsterInsights plugin, to see how people use our site. It can collect the pages you visit, how long you stay, your device and browser type, and your general location. Where the law requires your consent, analytics only runs after you accept it in our cookie banner. You can decline or turn it off at any time.
  • Security logs: Our security and login-protection tools (Loginizer and Really Simple Security) may record IP addresses along with the date and time of visits or login attempts. This helps us block attacks and protect the site.
  • Technical data: Our web hosting provider may keep basic server records, like IP addresses and browser details, to run the site and keep it safe. We also use page caching, which saves copies of our pages so they load faster.

Why we use your information

We use your personal information to:

  • Answer your questions and messages
  • Set up a free trial when you ask for one
  • Arrange your order, confirm your payment and send your login details by email
  • Help you set up and use the service, and fix problems
  • Keep a record of your subscription
  • Handle a refund if you ask for one within 7 days of purchase, under our 7-day money-back guarantee (see our Terms)
  • Keep our website and service safe, and stop fraud, spam and attacks
  • Understand how people use our website so we can make it better. Where the law requires your consent, analytics only runs after you accept it in our cookie banner.
  • Meet our legal, tax and accounting duties

If we want to use your information for a new purpose, we will tell you and ask for your consent first, unless the law allows us to do this without consent.

Please tell us if your email address changes. We send your login details and service messages to the email you give us, so it needs to be correct.

Your consent

We ask for your consent before we collect, use or share your personal information, unless the law allows otherwise. Often your consent is clear from what you do. For example, when you send us a message, we use your email address to reply. When you order, we use your details to set up and deliver your subscription. We only ask for the information we need for these purposes.

For cookies, we ask first. When you visit our site, our cookie banner lets you accept or decline cookies that the site does not need in order to work, like analytics cookies. We save your choice so we do not have to ask you again on every page.

Withdrawing your consent

You can change your mind at any time. You can:

  • Change your cookie choices through the cookie banner or cookie settings on our site, or delete cookies in your browser
  • Ask us to stop using your information by emailing us at support@iptvcanadaonline.com or messaging us on WhatsApp

If you withdraw consent, we will tell you what that means for you. For example, we cannot deliver the service or support you without your email address. We may also need to keep some records if the law requires it.

Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small files that a website saves in your browser. We use two main kinds:

  • Necessary cookies: These help the site work, stay secure and remember your cookie choice.
  • Analytics cookies: Google Analytics, connected through the MonsterInsights plugin, uses cookies to show us how visitors use our site. Where the law requires your consent, analytics only runs after you accept it in our cookie banner. You can decline or turn it off at any time.

Analytics reports show us things like which pages are popular and where the site could be better. We look at this information in summary form. We do not use it to identify you personally.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block all cookies, some parts of the site may not work as expected.

Who we share your information with

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

We only share it with service providers that help us run our website and our service. We only share what they need to do their job. These include:

  • Our web hosting provider, which stores our website and its data
  • Our email delivery service (SMTP), which sends our emails, including your login details
  • Google Analytics, for website statistics. Where the law requires your consent, analytics only runs after you accept it in our cookie banner.
  • WhatsApp, the messaging platform we use when you chat with us
  • The website tools we use for cookie consent (CookieAdmin), security (Loginizer and Really Simple Security) and backups (Backuply), which may handle personal information stored on our site
  • Your own bank or payment provider, which handles your payment under its own privacy policy. We only receive the payment confirmation.

Some of these providers, like WhatsApp and Google Analytics, also have their own privacy policies.

We may also share information if the law requires it, for example to respond to a valid court order or legal request.

We may also share information when the law allows it, for example to prevent fraud or protect the security of our website. If our business is sold or merged with another business, your information may be passed to the new owner. They must use it only as this policy describes.

Storage outside Canada

We are based in Canada. But your information may be stored, used or accessed outside Canada by our service providers and through the tools our team uses, such as email and WhatsApp.

When your information is outside Canada, it is subject to the laws of the places where it is stored or accessed. Courts, police or government bodies there may be able to access it under their laws.

We use contracts or other reasonable means to make sure the providers who handle personal information for us protect it with a level of care similar to ours. Some services, like WhatsApp and Google Analytics, also follow their own privacy policies.

How long we keep your information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the reasons in this policy, or as long as the law requires.

  • Contact form, email and WhatsApp messages (including your phone number and WhatsApp profile name): as long as we need them to answer you, follow up and keep a record of your support history
  • Order and payment records: while your subscription is active, and after that for as long as we need them for tax, accounting or legal reasons
  • Login details (including any free trial access): while your subscription is active, and for a reasonable time after it ends in case you renew or need help
  • Cookie choices and analytics: for the time set by each cookie or tool. You can delete cookies in your browser at any time.
  • Security logs: only as long as we need them to protect the site
  • Backups: kept for a limited time, then replaced by newer backups

If we have used your information to make a decision about you, or you have asked to see it, we keep it long enough for you to see it and, if needed, challenge it.

When we no longer need information, we delete it or make it anonymous.

How we protect your information

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your personal information. For example:

  • Our website uses a secure connection (HTTPS).
  • We use security tools to protect logins and block suspicious activity.
  • Only team members who need your information to do their work can see it.
  • We back up our website to help protect against data loss.
  • We do not collect full card numbers.

No website or online service is completely secure. Please keep your login details private. If you think someone else is using them, contact us right away.

If a privacy breach creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will tell you. We will also report it to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, as PIPEDA requires.

We also keep a record of privacy breaches, as the law requires.

Your privacy rights

Under PIPEDA, you have the right to:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it
  • Ask how we use it and who we have shared it with
  • Ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete
  • Withdraw your consent, as explained above
  • Ask us to delete your information. We will do this unless we need to keep some of it for legal, tax or accounting reasons.
  • Make a complaint

If we cannot give you some of your information, we will tell you why, unless the law does not allow us to. If you show us that information we hold is wrong, we will fix it. Where it makes sense, we will also tell the service providers who have it.

To make a request, email us at support@iptvcanadaonline.com or message us on WhatsApp. We may ask you to confirm who you are first, so we do not give your information to the wrong person. We will answer your request within the time limits set by law.

Complaints

If you have a concern about your privacy, please contact us first so we can try to fix it. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.

Children

Our website and service are not meant for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you think a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example when we add a new tool or change how we work. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If we make a big change, we will show a clear notice on our website.

If a change means we would use information we already have in a new way, we will ask for your consent first where the law requires it.

Please check this page now and then. To read the rules for using our service, see our Terms.
